Black History Month
Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and Citiparks honor 10 local, young African American leaders in an exhibit displayed in the City-County Building Lobby during Black History Month. The exhibit, "History in the Making: Honoring our Young African American Leaders of Today", runs February 3-26.

Lunch Program at Senior Centers
Monday through Friday, at 15 senior centers throughout the City, those ages 60+ can enjoy a FREE, nutritious and satisfying lunch with Citiparks. The meals are provided through a partnership with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services/Area Agency on Aging. In order to have lunch at the senior centers, please pre-register by noon the day before going to the center. Lunches are typically served at noon, but please contact your center directly for more information.

City Rec Centers Provide Free Afterschool Meals to Children
Mayor Luke Ravenstahl announced that the City's Department of Parks and Recreation (Citiparks) has added the Child and Adult Care Afterschool Feeding Program (CACFP) to its 10 Community Recreation Centers located throughout the greater Pittsburgh area.
